Activity Options

Take a look at our range of activity options available for corporate teambuilding days. We have 4 event days which are ideal for those wanting a set activity or a fully structured day...

  • Water Works
  • Rock & Roll
  • Sails Pitch
  • Mountain Magic

Water Works

For great group activities... just add water! We kit teams up to work their way around our orienteering course by canoe – the motivation to complete the task is your lunch awaiting you at a secret lakeshore location! After lunch teams make use of limited time and resources to build a jetty reaching as far over the water as possible.

This day can be adapted to suit your group aims (and individuals affinity with water!) and has proved to be our most popular team option.

Rock & Roll

A rollercoaster of a day combining climbing, abseiling and ghyll scrambling. If your heart rate doesn't rise at some time today – see your doctor!! The challenge of completing a climb or an abseil may be deeply personal but mutual support and the sharing of the high impact experience makes rock activities great for teambuilding. To cool off we take on one of the Lake Districts ghylls to scramble - slide and jump amongst the rocks, pools and falls!

Great fun activity for all group sizes!

Sails Pitch

For those of you who are used to a different kind of 'sales pitch' why not try your hand at something else that needs a calm approach!?

Spend the morning learning to take control of a sailing dinghy. Weather permitting you'll be steering and turning your boat by lunchtime! In the afternoon you can opt to pit your new-found skills against the rest of the team as you race around the buoys. For a less competitive option we can head out for a day sail.

Mountain Magic

Arguably the best way of appreciating the Lake District is on foot. We have qualified and experienced local guides who will take you to some of their favourite places to share the magic. We'll talk to you about the aspirations and fitness of your group members and select a route to suit, be that a lakeside stroll or a challenging summit. With a mountain leader on hand you can choose to relax and enjoy the experience and scenery or take the opportunity to learn basic skills of navigation and mountain safety.
