Clubs & Courses at lakes leisure Ulverston

During the year we
offer several leisure courses which you can get involved in and earn
qualifications towards a career in the industry. Most notably our NPLQ National
Pool Lifeguard Qualification course allows you to become fully trained as a
lifeguard after passing the exam at the end of a 5 day course. We run NPLQ
courses on a regular basis here at Ulverston and 
we also offer the same course
at our lakes leisure Kendal centre should places not be available here.
Please keep checking the website for further details on our industry courses as we are always looking to run different courses and qualifications as the opportunity arises. If you know of a sports related course which you would like us to run please tell us about it and we may be able to look into it.
Clubs are an
important part of the centre here at lakes leisure Ulverston. Lots of our
sports can be played at club level here including tennis, hockey, football,
rugby and of course swimming. Please take a look at our clubs contact list for
further details, our clubs regularly welcome new members and would love to hear
from you!
Try Sports Day – our annual open day event gives you the
chance to meet our clubs, talk to them and even try out their sports. Try
Sports Day runs each summer at the centre. Contact us for further details.
