The Lonsdale Suite

The Lonsdale Suite was opened at lakes leisure Kendal in 2009 and is one of our most popular meeting rooms. The light décor of the room and its refreshingly modern lighting and overall feel makes any meeting here a pleasure. The room can accommodate up to 60 people depending on your chosen layout and it is situated on the ground floor of the centre just to the right of the main reception area.

As with all our meeting rooms there is Wi-fi access, powerpoint facilities, air conditioning, free event set up and optional catering.

The layouts available for this room include U-shape, boardroom, class room and conference but you can design your own layout should you want complete freedom.

The hourly rate for The Lonsdale Suite is £22.60 per hour and we have some great half day, full day and weekly booking rates.

The Time Out Area

Our Time Out area is a very modern ‘coffee shop’ style meeting room which makes it quite an unusual and attractive option for a less formal meeting, a regular club or a course. The room can seat up to 60 people and is already furnished with a mixture of tables, chairs, trendy sofas and stools.

The area can be set up to include powerpoint facilities and all our other standard conferencing features. It is situated on the first floor of the centre at the top of the stairs and is easily accessible from the rest of the centre.

The Time Out area is a perfect room if you would like to incorporate a buffet lunch or dinner into your booking as the layout and spaciousness of the room really lends itself to this type of occasion. Our catering is provided by an experienced and recommended local caterer who will discuss a variety of menu options with you to suit all kinds of budget from a simple light lunch to an impressive evening buffet.

The hourly rate for our Time Out Area is £22.60, however once again please contact us for full day and half day discounted rates.

The Westmorland Hall / Theatre Hall

The Westmorland Hall is our main hall which is used during the day as a multi use sports hall but can transform into a fantastic tiered seating theatre venue or spacious exhibition room. The hall is the ideal choice for a large scale event or conference. As mentioned previously our optional tiered seating can provide an excellent business conference set up complete with main stage/speaking platform and delegate access via both the ground floor and first floor of the centre.

The Westmorland Hall is also ideal for an exhibition, fair or trade show (see pictures below) Its lower ground floor location mean that it is ideal for loading and unloading stock and equipment from the car park for quick transferal into the exhibition or event.

The hourly rate for the Westmorland Hall is £92.00 but please do contact us for half day and full day discounts.
