Fitzone Gym here at lakes leisure Ulverston is an impressive and modern fitness facility boasting a variety of the very latest gym equipment. Fitzone is fully air conditioned and has over 18 stations including a great cardio-vascular selection of cross trainers, treadmills, rowing machines, bikes and more; plus a selection of resistance equipment and a free weights area.
At Fitzone Ulverston we aim to create a community feel which makes our gym a very welcoming and relaxed place to workout whatever your fitness ability, age or fitness objectives. Some gyms can feel a little intimidating and impersonal – we try to be the opposite and are on hand if you need us, but if it's just a quiet workout you want, that's fine with us too!

All new members at Fitzone are introduced to the gym with a full induction which will include a tour of all the equipment and how best to use it within your workout. During your induction a member of the Fitzone team will discuss with you your goals and objectives and from this create a personally tailored programme for you to follow each time you visit the gym!
How do I join?
There are a variety of membership options available starting from pay as you go and monthly options through to 12 monthly memberships which offer the best value workout at just £31.50 per month for unlimited gym usage. Not sure which to choose? Visit our membership options page for a bit of help…
To make your gym visit that little bit more convenient we offer gym lockers and changing facilities with water dispensers in the gym itself. We also like to play some background music to pump up your workout but feel free to bring your own I-pod/MP3 too.
Inclusive Fitzone
Fitzone is also recognised by IFI (Inclusive Fitness Initiative site) to support our specialist adapted equipment suitable for disabled users. Gym staff are fully trained to accommodate users with additional needs/requirements and we have disabled changing and shower facilities also. Please give us a call to discuss your individual needs and we will be happy to assist.
Fitzone Visitors
If you wish to use Fitzone gym as a 'Visitor' (non member) whilst you are on holiday or business you must bring with you proof of membership at another gym.
Fitzone visitors can now buy a 7 day unlimited pass for just £15.00 – ask us for details.
Fitzone Exercise Studio
Next door to our FitZone gym we have a superb professional exercise studio with mirrored walls and a sprung floor. The studio hosts a range of weekly classes and is also available for hire.
