Here at lakes leisure Kendal we make every effort to provide a wide range of inclusive sports for all ages and abilities. Our IFI accredited gym allows our customers access to the Fitzone gym equipment with instruction on offer through our IFI qualified staff. Inclusive swimming programme
Our inclusive swimming programme was boosted by our new disabled changing facility on poolside at Kendal as well as funding through the ASA Swim Links scheme. Our new inclusive swimming course runs for 10 weeks and is suitable for those aged 5-16 years old. The previous two terms have run with partial funding from the ASA which has allowed us to offer the course at just £30.00.
Feedback from the course has been fantastic so far with one parent commenting that their child woke up every day asking if it was swimming day!
