Team Sports at lakes leisure Kendal
The sports hall at lakes leisure Kendal is a multi use hall, which means we can accommodate lots of different team sports. The rain is no longer an excuse not to play! Indoor team sport is popular all year round but for those looking to continue with a sport during the winter, our sports hall is an ideal solution.
If you are thinking of setting up a regular weekly slot for friends, family or colleagues please contact our Indoor Sports Officer, Mark Braithwaite who will discuss the discounts and savings which can be made with a contract booking.
All of the following sports can be booked on a casual or contract basis:
- 5 a-side Football: Why not have a regular indoor match with your colleagues, friends or family? Or simply organise a junior match for your children and their friends in a safe and controlled environment. Whatever your request, just ask and we will be happy to help.
- Basketball - The sports hall can be transformed into a full size basketball court, so if you would like to organise a casual game or you are a club interested in the facility please contact reception.
- Netball - Our hall is the ideal netball court, and we offer netball as an indoor team sport throughout the week. If you are a member of a netball club, or play often with a group of friends - ask us about our discount prices for booking a regular slot in the hall.
- Hockey - hockey is a popular sport in the North of England and our centre is no stranger to the sport. We use the hall for hockey matches, tournaments and practices - ask for details.
