Junior Swimming Lessons

Here at lakes leisure Kendal we are proud to provide an extensive programme of junior swimming lessons which allows us to offer lessons to children as young as 5 months up to those aged 15. lakes leisure Kendal swim school incorporates teaching from the ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) and all our teachers are qualified through the ASA. We are one of the only pools in the area to offer the ASA National Plan which is a junior programme for ages 4-15 approved and taught nationally.

Our swimming pathway below shows our lesson structure and the paths which can be followed on completion of each stage. Further details about each stage are highlighted below.

If you are unsure which stage your child is likely to fit in with their current swimming ability, please don’t hesitate to give us a call and we can arrange a short swim assessment which will ensure the right stage and lesson programme is picked.

- Swim A Song (5 - 18 months)

- Ducklings Parent & Toddler (18 months - 3 years)

- Minnows (3 - 4 years)

- Nemos (Confidence Building)

- ASA National Plan Junior Lessons (4 years +)
