Turns

Learn-2-turn

This course is an introductory course teaching basic level turns for developing competitive swimming.
To attend the course it is recommended children have a safety colour Red, can swim 100m and are confident in deep water.

Competitive Turns

This course is suitable for competitive swimmers teaching the art of competitive turns for all 4 strokes. Even after passing this course many swimmers find it useful to attend the course again to improve further. If time permits IM turns will also be covered during this course.
Please note to fully achieve this award children must be able to swim all 4 strokes legally. Children must have passed the Learn-2-turn course before attending this course however experienced swimmers who know the basics of turning may attend this course without previously passing the Learn-2-turn course.
