Situated on the eastern shore of Lake Windermere, our outdoor adventure centre is the perfect place to discover the Lake District and take part in an action packed, exciting activity!... We specialise in all things water including canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing and sailing. At the centre we offer a variety of options including introductory courses and multi activity days, there really is something for everyone of all ages and abilities!
We provide you with all the activity equipment you need and our qualified and experienced instructors are on hand to ensure you learn new skills and most importantly have a fantastic time!
BOOKINGS: It is recommended that during the season you book activities in advance to avoid disappointment!

Iconic Windermere is pretty special for watersports enthusiasts and a fantastic place for newcomers to dip in and have a go. With two great lakeside locations lakes leisure lets you discover Windermere and enjoy your own watersports adventures!
Dive right in at Millerground…
At our Millerground centre just north of Bowness we run tuition in dinghy sailing, kayaking, canoeing and windsurfing. There are lots of options for all ages from 7 years to adult including private tuition, weekend courses, children’s holiday activities as well as opportunities to participate regularly in our local clubs and racing events. We also run a range of activities for schools, groups and corporate teambuilding..
Dip your toes in at Brockhole…
During school holidays and summer weekends we provide sit-on-top kayaks, rowing boats and dinghy sailing by the hour with options for instruction or hire. Prices start from just £10.00 per person per hour – so it is a great way to give watersports a go
